Dogs and Cats as Pets

Some people find that living in a big city is very stressful. People tend to become isolated in big cities, so they often get pets for companionship. Most people have pets to release pressure and get rid of loneliness, because the pets help them to be happy and to have the chance to communicate. Dogs and cats are very common options when people want to have pets. Although, they are both good choices as pets, they still have similarities and differences which should be considered when thinking about getting a pet.
Most dogs and cats are friendly animals. When they see you around them, dogs are always very excited to jump and run to you while cats usually move toward you to touch your leg or foot softly. Then, they will be with you very close and quiet when you feel upset or tired. You can give them a touch and they will be happy. Sometimes you can talk to them like friends. They will concentrate to listen.
Caring for dogs and cats is a fairly easy task. Dogs like to be petted and usually act very excited and active, but cats are often very aloof and act very independent. Dogs need to go outdoors because they need to run and do some exercise to keep their heath. However, cats can live indoors because most of time they are very lazy and just want to sleep and rest. On the one hand, dogs might bite things because they need to grind their teeth. On the other hand, cats will scratch furniture because they need to sharpen their nails.
All in all, most dogs and cats are generally very loyal and devoted pets. You need to pay a lot of attention to them and use patience to care for them. If you do, they will be your best friends and become a part of your family. However, you should remember that dogs and cats live relatively long lives. If you really want to have them as pets, you have a duty to love them forever. Don’t discard them when they are sick or you feel they are not cute anymore. Although they are just animals, they still can feel what is good or bad for them.

Freedom

Freedom is a huge balancing act. To maintain a good balance between individual rights and responsibilities is a difficult task. Each country must find the correct balance to gain the support and cooperation of the majority of its people. To achieve freedom there must be a good balance between rights and restrictions.
Most people cherish the freedom of religious. This means that people are free to believe in God, or not. They are willing to pay for the protection of this right. For example, a true democracy would not restrict people’s beliefs. People are free to have different thoughts and opinions about their countries. On the other hand, in a few countries there is no religious freedom. In these cases, many people are willing to fight for the freedom to have their religious beliefs.
People should have the right of free speech. They should be able to say what they truly think about ideas, as long as they respect the right of others and do not hurt someone’s reputation. Laws can be written to control this right in order to prevent people from deliberate and harmful comments.
People also have the right to free information. Such rights protect that people’s access to the internet. People should have the right to seek, accept and transmit information between any countries. Freedom of information should include the right for people to communicate their ideas about the government. Again, laws can be written to control this right, because maybe it is not good for people to know everything about the government.
The biggest competitor of freedom is government. Freedom restricts the power of the government. The government often uses this reason to restrict the freedom people want. Freedom is not only good for the people, but it is also good for the country, because people who want to freedom will learn how to become more rational and responsible people.

How to Live on a Tight Budget

As the unemployment rate goes up, prices go up, and life for people becomes very hard. Although salaries may go down, one will still want to have a good quality of live to reduce the pressures of life. You still can live comfortably on a tight budget if you are willing to try these suggestions.
The first suggestion is to take public transportation. Do not depend on your car to go everywhere you want to go, because the oil price of the nation is getting more and more expensive. If you drive your car, you have to spend more money than when you take public transportation. Although sometimes cars are more convenient than public transportation, you may spend more time for finding a parking lot and have to endure tiresome traffic jams.
Another suggestion is, eat out as little as possible because the ingredients for meals from supermarkets are usually cheaper and healthier than those from restaurants. Just prepare all of your meal as well as you can. You also can have a lot of fun when you cook. Who knows? Maybe you will enjoy it even more than going to restaurants.
Then, stay far away from expensive amusement places when you want to relax. Sometimes you may want to do something fun to release your stress when you are off duty. Instead of playing a lot for a movie or a meal, you can drink, listen to music and see movie videos at home on weekdays or go to museums, libraries or natural places on the weekend. You can get close to the nature to breathe fresh air or enjoy the sunshine by doing things such as going hiking, camping, running or fishing.
Finally, one thing that you may often forget is to not waste electricity. Remember to shut electronics off when you finish using them. This act is very easy to do and it could save you more money than any of previous suggestions.
All in all, you still can improve your quality of life in this time, where the price of everything is going up. If you follow these suggestions, you can live comfortably with little money.

When I was a child.

I grew up in the countryside. When I was a child, I would ride a bicycle with my classmates in the

country road to do something fun. I enjoyed everything because that was very leisurely.
